Guided technical diving day trip from Hurghada
Our technical diving day runs on the same boat and schedule as our recreational day — 08:00 hotel pickup, back by about 16:30 — but you dive your own plan with a tec guide. It's open to Tec 40 divers and above, including Extended Range, Trimix and CCR. Twinset or sidemount tanks, stage cylinders, nitrox and oxygen for deco are included. Price on request, since it depends on your gases.

How does the tec day run?
The same boat day as our recreational divers, with your dives planned around your depth, gases and deco.

Our driver collects you and your kit from your hotel.

At the marina
Board, meet your tec guide, check your rig and analyse and label every cylinder.

Sail out and plan
Around an hour and a half at sea. You and your guide confirm the dive plan: depth, run time, gases and gas switches, bailout and team roles.

First dive
The deeper dive of the day, while the sea is calmest — a wall, a pinnacle or a wreck, chosen for your plan and the conditions.

Back on board
Rinse off, change into something dry and rehydrate.

Lunch and surface interval
Lunch and soft drinks on deck, then a long rest before the second dive while you go over the next plan.

Second dive
Usually shallower and shorter than the first, planned around your surface interval and gas.

Sail back
Straight back to the marina — about an hour and a half. Debrief and log your dives with your guide on the way.

Who is the tec day for?
Certified technical divers: Tec 40 or Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures and above, Tec 45 and 50, Extended Range, Trimix and closed-circuit rebreather divers. What should I bring?
- Your technical certification cards and a logbook showing recent dives
- Dive computer(s) set up for your gases
- An SMB and spool or reel
- Your own regulators, wing or sidemount rig, if you prefer your own
- CCR divers: your unit — tell us what you need for sorb and gas
- Swimwear, a towel, a hat and reef-safe sunscreen
Tec day — the questions we get most
Who can join the technical diving day?
Tec 40 (or Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures) divers and above — Tec 45 and 50, Extended Range, Trimix and CCR divers. Bring your cards; you dive within your certification limits.
Do tec divers share the boat with recreational divers?
Yes — same boat, same 08:00 pickup and 16:30 drop-off. You dive your own plan with a tec guide, separately from the recreational groups.
What's included?
Hotel transfer, two technical dives with a tec guide, twinset or sidemount cylinders, stage and deco cylinders, nitrox and oxygen for deco, and lunch with soft drinks.
Is trimix available?
Yes — trimix fills are extra and depend on your mixes. Tell us your planned gases when you book and we'll quote before the day.
Can I dive my rebreather?
Yes, CCR divers are welcome. Tell us your unit and what you need for sorb, oxygen and diluent so it's ready on the boat.
Why is the price on request?
Gas is the biggest variable in a tec day — depth, mixes and configuration all change it. Send us your plan on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the price in writing.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your trip. If we cancel for weather or sea conditions, you pay nothing and we rebook you for another day.
