Shark Observatory — dive site guide
Shark Observatory is a reef wall in Ras Mohammed National Park at the southern tip of Sinai, reached by liveaboard. Independent guides rate it advanced, where strong currents are reported. Its position is confirmed by independent sources. It is usually dived from local boats or the shore; ask us whether it fits your plans.
Documented site depths are not a recommended dive depth. Your dive plan stays within your certification limit and takes account of conditions and experience. Read our safety information.
How deep does it go?
Some sources give depths of 90 m — the bottom beyond the reef, not a recreational dive depth.
What's the underwater landscape like?
Sources describe deep wall below observation cliff.
What marine life can you see?
Occasional or seasonal — never guaranteed: Pelagic fish, a chance of sharks, turtles and sharks rarely seen park-wide.
