Deep South & St John's — the Red Sea's far reefs
Deep South takes you seven nights into Egypt's far south, to the Fury Shoal and St John's reefs — some of the healthiest hard coral in the Red Sea, with pinnacles, swim-throughs and sunlit caverns. It's an intermediate route that suits divers with some experience. Up to four dives a day and full board in a twin or double ensuite cabin, from €1,290 per person.

What does a week on Deep South · St John's look like?
Up to four dives a day, with time to eat, rest and log in between.
-
Day 1
Board and settle in
Find your cabin, meet the crew and get the boat and safety briefing over dinner.
-
Day 2
Check dive, then Fury Shoal
Fury Shoal's maze of reefs — sites such as Abu Galawa Soraya and Shaab Claudio, known for swim-throughs and caverns.
-
Day 3
Sataya and the southern reefs
The horseshoe reef of Sataya, where spinner dolphins are sometimes seen at the surface — we never chase them — and the pinnacles of Shaab Malahi.
-
Day 4
St John's
The first of two days among the St John's reefs: Habili Ali, Gota Kebir and the reef's caverns, with light falling through gaps overhead.
-
Day 5
St John's, day two
More of the far-south reefs, such as Um Arouk and Habili Gaffar, as the captain picks the best sites for the day.
-
Day 6
Heading back north
Fury Shoal again on the way home — often a chance at the sites the wind ruled out on the way down.
-
Day 7
Last dives and port
Final dives, then rinse, pack and a farewell dinner on board.
-
Day 8
Disembark
Breakfast and goodbyes.
This is a typical week, not a fixed timetable. The captain sets each day's route by weather, sea state and park permits, and the last dive is at least 24 hours before your flight home.

Deep South · St John's — the questions we get most
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit reserves your cabin, and the balance is due 60 days before departure. You can change your dates for free up to 60 days out — message us about anything closer to departure.
What if the weather changes the route?
The captain has the final say every day. If wind, swell or a park permit rules a site out, we move to the best alternative nearby — safety and good diving first, the printed plan second.
Can I rent equipment or dive on Nitrox?
Yes — equipment rental and Nitrox (for certified divers, blended on board) are add-ons. Tell us what you need when you book so it's ready on the boat.
What if I get seasick?
We choose calmer routes where we can. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about a seasickness remedy suitable for you before travelling.
